How we work

Evidence integration

We harmonize data and claims from global experimental groups studies into complex networks of interactions at different scales: molecular, cellular and systemic.

Mechanistic modeling and External validation

We formulate dynamical mathematical and computational models and we check their behavior against independent experiments and benchmarks

Simulation and Target discovery

We explore “what-ifs,” predict aging trajectories, and quantify leverage points to identify intervention candidates and combinations that may slow aging or prevent senescence.

Open release

We publish our models, results, interpretations, predictions and data. We share our findings about therapeutic targets with reproducible pipelines so others can test, refine, and build.

Beyond Life

An aging model that generates emerging therapeutic strategies

Our initial focus is a cellular-scale network capturing key aging drivers: mitochondrial dynamics and bioenergetics, epigenetic reprogramming (Yamanaka factors and related pathways), gene activation/repression programs, proteostasis, DNA damage/repair, inflammatory signaling, and the senescence program (entry, maintenance, SASP, and potential exit).

About Beyond Life

Beyond Life turns fragmented findings on human aging into coherent, testable models.

We continuously integrate results from labs worldwide—datasets, protocols, and peer-reviewed studies—then encode them into multi-scale computational models that can suggest therapeutic targets to slow or stop aging.
